Advanced audio technology transforms the student experience at Preston College
The safety of learners, staff, and visitors is a key priority for Preston College, so they enlisted Audiebant to revolutionise the way they communicate with thousands of people on campus each day.
Audiebant’s innovative audio communication system allows Preston College to communicate a wide range of messages with campus visitors, from key updates to reminders, such as ‘wear your ID badge at all times’, and security messages, ensuring the safety of everyone on campus.
A total of 216 speakers have been installed within 14 zones across the campus, and as well as ensuring safety, the speakers can also play a bespoke playlist of music which creates a vibrant and welcoming environment for everyone. They can be used to enhance on-campus events too.
The integrated Audiebant system also allows the College to play and schedule different announcements within specific areas or campus-wide, and they have the ability to mix pre-recorded and live messages. If an emergency arises, an override facility can be accessed from any mobile device so updates can be broadcasted immediately.
